Pat Donner was a dedicated histotechnologist working through the ranks to Anatomic Pathology Manager before her retirement from Botsford Hospital (currently Beaumont-Farmington Hills) in 2012. She was active throughout her career with MSH, having served in a variety of offices, including president. Pat was a frequent presenter on both the state and national level providing educational workshops for fellow histotechnologists. She was also instrumental in achieving accreditation for the DMC School of Histotechnology. Her life-long commitment to histology education has spurred former employees, colleagues, friends and family to honor her, in lieu of flowers, by donating to an educational scholarship at the Michigan Society for Histotechnologists in her name.
